E3 successfully executed a multi-faceted $12 million infrastructure enhancement at Port Neches-Groves. This extensive project encompassed the installation of 14 high-efficiency air-cooled chillers, a complete LED retrofit across the high school and two middle schools, and the integration of Building Automation Systems (BAS) at the high school to optimize energy management.
Among the praises by PN-G administrators, Superintendent Mike Gonzales stated, “I’ve been in the school district for 15 years…and this project was probably the best run project I’ve been a part of.”
Highlighting Advanced Sports Lighting
A highlight of this project was the upgrade of sports lighting systems atkey athletic facilities, including the football, baseball, and softball fields, as well as the tennis courts. These state-of-the-art lighting solutions not only enhance the game-day experience but also significantly reduce energy consumption and operational costs.
Funding and Financial Strategy
The project funding was sourced from three different programs totaling approximately $11.996 million, showcasing our expertise in capital project financing:
- Two applications through the Cool Chillers Program, each securing
$3 million. - A robust $6.034 million from the SECO LoanSTAR program, which
underscores our capability in securing and managing substantial
financial resources for large-scale projects.
